I’m excited to launch this new blog to share the journey of a church planter. That planter would be me. Actually, it’s more like me, my family, and many other people who have a passion to take the message and love of Christ to the city of Asheville, NC in 2012. The method: Grassroots Church. Grassroots Church will be a church plant in the heart of Asheville, with a mission to cultivate a community of Christ-followers. Basically, Grassroots believes following Jesus is worth whatever we have. Everything else is just religion. And religion bites.
Over the course of the next month, I’ll be answering many questions I’ve been asked recently:

- Why Asheville?
- Why me?
I cannot wait to share the story of our call to Asheville with anyone who will listen (or read). This is just the beginning of a journey.
